In the New Testament, we see that an Apostle develops the patterns that others follow. The Apostle Paul was perhaps the most well known wise Master Builder, who developed the building pattern that others followed and reproduced with fruitful results. God blesses those who follow such a pattern. Those who don’t follow an established pattern will likely end up sowing in a divisive pattern that will cause confusion and division within that church body.
God uses patterns to construct creation. 24 hours a day, 4 seasons, 12 months, 7 days a week, etc.
He gave first apostles, secondarily prophets, etc
► There are gift patterns 1 Corinthians 12:8-11(NKJV)
For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.
► There are fruit patterns Galatians 5:22-23 (NKJV)
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
► There were 12 Tribes of Israel, who multiplied into a new nation
► There were 12 Apostles, who propagated the new faith
Patterns identify our Core Values.
► Because, they establish Order, thereby leading people to Truth, which will lead them to a greater level of Anointing.
► They provide a vehicle to train others: fruitfulness for the Kingdom.
New members and upcoming leaders will be trained to follow the pattern as they engage in ministry. As we grow and leadership advances through the ranks, the
pattern normally diminishes, which can cause the vision to degenerate and therefore periodic teaching will take place so we can be refocused to the pattern that supports the vision and mission of the church.
